Who are MPM

At MPM Pumps and Engineering – or simply MPM as many of our customers know us – we’ve been keeping pumps running smoothly since 1985. Founded by our Managing Director, Steve Hudson, MPM has always been a family business. Over the years, three generations of the Steve’s family have been part of the company, and many of our team have been with us for decades – some for more than 30 years. That continuity and shared knowledge are what set us apart.

Steve began his career with a major pump manufacturer, and he founded MPM with a simple goal: to combine technical expertise with genuine, personal service. Nearly 40 years on, that same commitment drives everything we do. Our customers aren’t just clients – they’re long-standing partners who trust us to deliver honest advice, reliable solutions, and quality that lasts.

We supply new pumps and components from all the major brands, and we specialise in the service, repair, and re-manufacture of double diaphragm pumps, progressive cavity pumps, and centrifugal pumps. Whether it’s on-site maintenance across the UK and Europe, or more complex work in our fully equipped in-house workshop, we always tailor our service to what works best for you.
